“Today, there is no need to be afraid of the Russian Armed Forces. However, I do not believe that the Russian military is obliged to defend the world from the evil Americans”.

Probably just as well. Evil George Bush doesn’t think much of the Russian military:

I really don’t view Russia as a threat, a military threat. I don’t think — I’m pretty confident President Putin does not want to have any military conflict.

And he’s spot on in his assessment of Russia’s view of its role in the world…
