Putin doodles

by Andy on December 13, 2008

I stumbled across this picture of Putin doodling during a meeting:

Putin doodle

I thought it’d be fun to check what the doodles mean.  According to this site about the meaning of doodles, tight loops signify that the doodler is nervous or tense, and the square box could mean that Putin is disciplined, structured and possibly a bit aggressive.

Any other amateur doodle-ologists out there want to have a go and finding some meaning in Putin’s doodles?

That is a great post Andy! Do you know what the meeting was about or who it was with?

No. You are wrong again.

Michael Averko December 14, 2008 at 5:40 am

I didn’t say it was doodling.

You’re “wrong again.”

The “db” above is an impostor. Go figure.

Yes – comment 4 (@ 5:35am) and comment 7 (@3.35am) are both fakes.

I’ve pointed this out to the person who wrote them (IP logs are a wonderful thing sometimes). I wonder whether an apology will appear?

Michael Averko December 15, 2008 at 8:00 am

Andy:

Perhaps more attention will be paid to the kind of underhanded comments made by the usual participants.

They apper to be both imposters, in terms of not contributing to a respectfully sincere discussion of the subject matter.

On another front, any reaction to the linked video of Saakashvili?

I should’ve more accurately phrased the earlier question in the form of his manner reflecting a form of doodling.

PS

Yes, I wonder whether an “apology” will appear for the kind of shit that’s been directed at some others besides myself.

The commenter using the name of Scrat has been a positive addition.

He/she is civil, while staying on topic.

It’s a pleasure to interact with such folks.

LOL this is funny! :)

I find it funnier that we as people find a way to analyze subtle little htings like doodling. I mean, couldn’t Putin just have been bored. This post gets my stamp of approval, keep them coming.

A Freudian could totally tell you what that looks like,

poemless December 18, 2008 at 7:58 pm

You all think it’s doodling, but it’s obviously a top secret KGB code language. He’s probably writing, “To do: Threaten Ukriane, annoy US and invade Estonia. Also, off the journalist who just took this picture!”

Or maybe it says, “Pick up dog chow for Koni on way home. Oh, wait, Ludya said she’d take care of that. Nevermind. [scribbles it off list.]”

It’s one of those sneaky spy code languages that contains a different message depending on whether the reader is a Russophobe™ or Russophile™. Clearly.

That is hilarious.

Thanx Micheal, I found this place to be civil due to the people who post here. The usual shenanigans are present but to a high degree they are respectful in my view or easily ferreted out for the BS that they are.

Fake. If you zoom into the notepad on the top, not only does the “doodling” not have the same shape, the pen is in a completely different position as well.
