An interesting rumour from the kavkazcenter.com website. Remember how Ramzan Kadyrov managed to meet with Putin mere hours after his father was assassinated? Well, it seems that the reason they were able to meet so quickly was because he was in a Moscow hospital undergoing treatment for a gunshot wound at the time…
After the removal of Kadyrov, Sr. on May 9 it turned out that Kadyrov, Jr. was in one of the Moscow hospitals all of this time, undergoing treatment of a gunshot wound that he sustained in a shooting during a brawl. According to one of the versions, he got into an argument with his bodyguard; another version says it was Sulim Yamadayev (another national traitor), who had been at daggers drawn with Kadyrov, Jr. for some time.
The rumours about Kadyrov being shot by his bodyguard have apparently been flying around since 22 April. Kavkazcenter.com is not exactly what you would call a fan of the Kadyrovs, so I have no idea if they are true or not. No other news outlets seem to have picked up the story yet. Interesting though.
