It would be unique in that it would involve two countries not geographically so close to each other when compared to other joint football (soccer) tournament ventures like South Korea-Japan and Ukraine-Poland. Note that those two mentioned tournaments involve countries which historically haven't been known to be on the best of terms. Such an arrangement could no doubt help improve the state of relations between the two countries.
