Those of you fortunate enough to live in the UK will be able to watch a Dispatches documentary about Beslan tonight (Channel 4, 9pm).
The show’s website comes complete with an internet poll which currently shows that more than 50% of people in the UK believe that a Beslan-style school seige could happen in the UK.

Watched a rememberance documentary on the ARTE channel about the Beslan parents and children almost one year after it happened. Very moving, made me very aggressive too. So much depression, fear, anger and sadness. So little comprehension about what exactly happened. And so little (no next to nothing) the Russian Federation does to solve this crime.
